The delicious breakfast flavours of fried chestnut mushrooms and beef tomato combine beautifully with the delicious gluten free Heck Fair and Square sausages; serve in one of our toasted thins with a dash of tangy chutney for an irresistible gluten free brunch.

Ingredients: 
  • 4 Warburtons Gluten Free White Sandwich Thins
  • 4 gluten-free Heck Fair and Square Sausages
  • 8 chestnut mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 beef tomato, cut into 4 chunky slices
  • A few sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1 Tomato and chilli chutney or relish of your choice, to serve
Method: 
  1. Fry the gluten-free Heck Fair and Square in a non-stick frying pan for about 5 minutes on each side, checking that they are completely cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, fry the sliced chestnut mushrooms in the butter or oil for a few minutes until they are golden.
  3. Toast the Warburtons Gluten Free White Sandwich Thins, then place the bottom halves onto plates. Top them with the tomato slices, mushrooms and gluten-free sausages, and then place on the top slices.
  4. Serve with your favourite tangy tomato chutney on the side, and garnish with a few thyme sprigs.
