We are delighted to share that we have added a gluten free variant of our iconic Toastie to our Warburtons Gluten Free range. Our deliciously soft classic white Toastie is the perfect size for individuals that follow a gluten free diet and features a thicker slice which makes it ideal for toasting, as well as for making great sandwiches. Toastie is now available in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide so please give it a try, and let us know what you think!

 Gluten Free Bread Recipe

 

Recipe: Peanut Butter and Banana on Toast

 

Makes: 2 slices

 

Prep Time: 5 minutes

 

Ingredients:

 2 slices of Warburtons Gluten Free White Toastie

 

2 tbs peanut butter, or nut butter of your choice

 

1 banana, sliced

 

A handful of blueberries

 

A few whole hazelnuts (preferably with skin on), roughly chopped

 

1-2 tsp runny honey

 

 

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:

 

1) Toast the Warburtons Gluten Free bread on both sides then spread with the peanut butter while still warm

 

2) Slice the banana and divide between the two slices, then add the blueberries. Scatter with the chopped nuts and drizzle with a little honey.

 

3) Enjoy!
