Ingredients:
- 6 Slices of Warburtons Gluten Free White Toastie
- 6 Tbs of passata (or ready made pizza sauce / topping)
- A pinch of oregano
- A pinch of sea salt and black pepper
- 2 Handfuls of grated mixed cheese (we like mozzarella and red cheddar mix)
- Few cherry tomatoes, sliced
- Few slices of small pepperoni
- Fresh red or green chilli, finely sliced
- Few fresh basil leaves for garnish
Method:
- Toast the bread lightly on both sides under the grill (or leave one side un-toasted if you prefer it softer under the topping)
- Add the oregano, salt and pepper to the passata and mix then spread a spoonful over each of the slices of toast. Top with a little cheese and spread evenly (don't add too much as it won't melt properly). Add your toppings.
- Turn the grill down to medium/low and cook the pizza toasts gently until the cheese is melted and golden. Scatter over the basil leaves and enjoy.
