It's hard to beat French toast – in this recipe our soft Warburtons Gluten Free White Farmhouse Loaf is coupled with a chewy vanilla coating and gooey jam filling, to make a sweet treat the whole family will love.

Ingredients:
- 4 slices Warburtons Gluten Free White Farmhouse Loaf
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tbs strawberry jam
- 1 tsp icing sugar
- A handful of fresh strawberries, halved
Method:
- In a wide shallow bowl, mix the egg, milk and vanilla with a fork.
- Spread the jam over two of the slices and sandwich with the other slices of bread. Heat the butter in a large non-stick frying pan.
- Carefully dip the jam sandwiches into the egg mixture and add to the frying pan. Cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Cut in half and place onto plates, then dust with the icing sugar and serve with the fresh strawberries.
