Tender, flavoursome ham hock works wonderfully with a tangy mayonnaise and mustard sauce. Serve with cress in our gluten free White Farmhouse Loaf for a filling and hearty sandwich.

  • 4 slices Warburtons Gluten Free White Farmhouse Loaf
  • 2 tbs gluten free mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp gluten free Dijon mustard
  • 1 small ready-cooked Ham Hock
  • ½ a punnet of cress, cut and rinsed
  1. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the mustard and spread onto two of the slices of gluten free bread.
  2. Remove any fat or rind from the ham hock, and use two forks to shred the meat. You won’t need all the meat, so keep half in the fridge for another meal.
  3. Pile the meat onto the bread spread with mayonnaise, and top with a generous amount of cress. Top with the remaining two slices of bread, and serve.
